Mumbai, October 18, 2026: Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff escaped unharmed after unidentified assailants allegedly opened fire at his car in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday. The incident has triggered a police investigation, with reports stating that a suspect has been detained for questioning.
Firing Incident Near Pushpa Park
According to media reports, the incident occurred near Pushpa Park in Juhu when Tiger Shroff was returning home after playing a football match. Three rounds were reportedly fired at his BMW by unidentified attackers.
The actor escaped without any gunshot injuries. However, his driver and an autorickshaw driver were reportedly injured in the incident and taken to hospitals for medical treatment.
Police Detain Suspect, Investigation Underway
Mumbai Police have launched an investigation to identify the people involved in the firing. According to reports published on Sunday evening, a suspect has been detained and is being questioned in connection with the incident.

The incident has drawn attention after a social media post attributed to individuals allegedly associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the attack.
The post reportedly included warnings directed at people in the Mumbai film industry who work with actor Salman Khan. However, the authenticity of the claim and the alleged gang’s involvement have not been independently established by police.

The firing incident has raised fresh concerns about the security of Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reportedly spoke with the Mumbai Police Commissioner and directed the authorities to expedite the investigation.
