Melbourne, Australia: In a significant step toward strengthening bilateral relations, India and Australia have signed a landmark agreement to facilitate the export of Australian uranium to India for peaceful civilian nuclear energy purposes. The agreement was finalized during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official visit to Australia, marking a new chapter in the strategic partnership between the two nations.
